Congrats to my Husband!

(I'm sure he's going to hate this pic! This was Academy Graduation Oct. 2007)

This morning Tommy had a visit with Murray Chief of Police and was extended a "conditional" job offer. ( he has to pass a drug, physical and psych test) We are truly excited and grateful for this opportunity. Tommy has been traveling to Ogden from Murray for his current position as a patrolman on Ogden's Police Department. (For those who don't know how far Ogden is from Murray- it's an hour drive in "good" traffic.) I want to congratulate him on his success- and his determination for moving forward with his career. He is still going to school to graduate with his Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, and we can't wait for that day either! Thanks to all those who have helped support and encourage him to do what he loves. All the prayers are appreciated, and not gone with out gratitude in our hearts. Love to all- Al

My favorite pumpkin products!!!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite products that are fall inspired! These products are great for my skin; which is combination skin with an oily T-zone, especially on my nose and upper cheeks.

Biker and Oakley

Meet my two puppies! Biker the "Yorkillion" and Oakley the "Chorkie". Both are mix breeds of a Yorkshire Terrier, and they are the love of "our" lives. My husband and I picked out Biker last spring and we picked up Oakley this past winter. Enjoy meeting my little family.

Gel Nails by Melanie R

Today I passed my state exam for my Master Estheticians license- -GOOOO ME! Anyway- I decided to pamper my self with getting my nails done. :) I went to this sweet gal Melanie R. who does them out of a beauty supply store in Roy. She did a fantastic job with them I HAD to blog about it. Here is the photo of my nails- aren't they great!? She charges 25$ and has an awesome selection of color and decals. she is creative as well as precise. My smile lines are important to me- I am impressed with her work. Gel nails are much clearer and last longer than acrylic- these posted here are gel- Gel nails can take longer to process due to the cureing factor, but that in its self makes them last longer. :)
